Data Analytics Expert for Safety Related Systems (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Have an innovation driven mindset to explore new paths to achieve safer autonomous driving systems, challenging and trailblazing the state-of-the-art in data analysis.
• Extract key insights about vehicular traffic from large self-driving and human driving data sets.
• Extract evidences to support safety argumentation derived from real-world data set analysis.
• Derive effective V&V measures and requirements for data collection to support data-driven safety argumentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the newest data analysis technologies including AI-based, industry standards, regulations, trends and new best practices.

Your areas of expertise

• MSc. or PhD. Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent field.
• Extensive experience in data analytics, statistics and probability frameworks applied to large data sets.
• Proficient experience in Bayesian methods, Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivity analysis, data mining or alternative approaches.
• Practical experience in risk estimation and quantification using data analytics for safety relevant applications in regulated environments.
• Hands-on attitude and positive engagement to inspire and motivate teammates.
• Professional proficiency in English. German and/or Chinese knowledge are an advantage
• Willing to travel abroad (up to 25% of the time)
