Your tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and other safety standards (ISO 21448, etc.)
- Support safety activities in various domains, including operational, mechanical, and HV (high voltage) safety
- Conduct hazard analyses and risk assessments to identify safety risks in the development process
- Develop and drive the implementation of effective safety measures
- Define functional and technical safety requirements and concepts
- Lead and perform safety analysis using methods such as FTA, FMEA, DFA, and STPA
- Drive safety-related architectural updates, including designing redundancies and fail-operational systems
- Provide training to engineers and domain experts on safety principles, analysis methods, and processes
- Establish, refine, and enforce safety processes and procedures within the development lifecycle
- Guide and oversee verification and validation (V&V) activities in alignment with ISO 26262
- Serve as the primary interface with suppliers for safety-critical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in applying ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and related safety standards and regulations
- Expertise in applying ISO 26262 in the T&B (Testing & Benchmarking) domain and experience with automotive systems engineering
- Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in both qualitative and quantitative safety analyses for complex systems
- Extensive experience with safety-related validation and verification (V&V) in an automotive environment
- Familiarity with common autonomous vehicle (AV) technologies and fail-operational redundancy strategies

The HOLON urban is a fully electric and autonomous vehicle for use on public roads. It is one of the world's first movers to meet automotive standards – leading the way in safety, ride comfort and production quality. The vehicle operates at a top speed of 60 kilometers / 37 miles per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers.
The HOLON urban is barrier-free and offers an automated ramp, a secured wheelchair space and auditory and visual support for passengers. In addition to conventional scheduled services, the mover is to be used as an on-demand means of transport in order to meet the mobility needs of users.
