The Company

A leading European CDMO specializing in the development and GMP manufacturing of biologics. The site partners with global biotech and pharmaceutical clients to deliver high-quality clinical and commercial supply, supporting innovation across modalities.

Position Overview

The Site Head will provide strategic and operational leadership for a growing biologics manufacturing facility. Responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations, this role will drive site performance and maintain strong relationships with clients and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all site operations, including Manufacturing, Quality, MSAT, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
  • Define and execute the site strategy, aligning with corporate growth objectives.
  • Ensure full GMP and EHS compliance, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
  • Deliver client programs on time, to scope, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Represent the site during regulatory inspections and client audits.
  • Foster organizational development, talent growth, and employee engagement.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and CAPEX projects to support expansion.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years' experience in biologics or biopharma manufacturing, including 5+ years in senior site or operational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of GMP biologics production (upstream, downstream, and quality systems).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships in a CDMO setting.
  • Successful track record in regulatory inspections, tech transfer, and commercial-scale operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
