Your mission
  • Be the face of the company, focusing on sales efforts for our embedded products, including a Radio Tuner SDK for Automotive OEMs/Tier-1s and especially our connectivity products like the Bluetooth stack & tools to automotive Tier 1s, OEMs and manufacturers in other global embedded Industries.
  • Expand our existing customer base as well as   targeting new companies and similar market opportunities.
  • Find, initiate & follow up, close and otherwise manage the sales activities for the allocated region and customers.
  • This will include working with our partner management & marketing team to assess possible alliance member opportunities and provide market feedback concerning future functionality & requirements where possible for this segment.
  • Manage customer expectations and account development as well as build & maintain positive customer relationships to encourage new development projects and appropriate project upgrades.
  • Collaborate with our international sales team and the relevant technical team to analyze customer requirements, deliver products and services in line with customer needs and manage the sales cycle through to revenue recognition.
  • Provide regular forecasts, report and manage the lead pipeline.
  • Work with OpenSynergy's functional departments to tap into Tier 1's and OEMs and fulfill commitments made to these customers. This includes helping to define strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with the R&D management to communicate customer's technical requirements and ensuring that support commitments are fulfilled to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Interact with our partner network and prepare and present sales material to customers either on-site or virtual, and represent OpenSynergy at events, trade shows, table tops and speaking engagements.


Your profile
  • Completed university or colleague education with a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering/Business Informatics or a comparable technical degree.
  • 10+ years of general embedded industry or embedded automotive sales experience, especially with wireless technologies (e.g. Bluetooth stack) and/or Radio Tuner software stack in the embedded market with focus on automotive OEMs & Tier-1s and a proven track of record of consistent sales quota achievement.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English. Additional languages would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive experience in negotiating, managing and closing major/key accounts.
  • Experience in technology products and service sales within the general embedded, real-time, connectivity or automotive market.
  • Strong and influential interpersonal and relationship-building skills in both German and English.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to explain complex facts in simple words.
  • Experience in delivering sales solutions to the embedded markets, or specific sales experience with a company in the same sector or real-time software house are deemed as assets in this role.
  • Must be comfortable working in all sales media, including delivering presentations to customers and proposal writing.
  • High degree of motivation, commitment, flexibility and self-responsibility
Additional assets:
  • Knowledge and sales experience with functional safety or cybersecurity standards such as ISO 21434, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, etc.
