About the Role

For the position of SAP Sales Director – Germany, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, growth-focused, and results-driven leader.

This role is ideal for a strategic and dynamic sales leader with deep expertise in SAP HXM, SuccessFactors and Cloud Transformation and a passion for driving growth. As SAP Sales Director for Germany, you will own the local SAP sales strategy, lead a high-performing team, and build strong relationships with C-level executives and strategic partners. Your focus will be on expanding our footprint in SAP HXM, SuccessFactors, and cloud transformation services, while positioning SD Worx as a trusted leader in HR and payroll solutions.

Your Tasks

Sales Management & Strategy

  • Own the SAP sales strategy in Germany, focusing on new customer acquisition, cloud migration, and strategic development of existing accounts.

  • Translate the European go-to-market strategy into actionable local growth initiatives.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead qualification through quotation, negotiation, and successful closure.

Team Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, customer-centric sales team.

  • Coach and mentor team members to drive performance, motivation, and skills development.

  • Foster an open, results-oriented team culture based on trust and entrepreneurial thinking.

Customer & Market Responsibility

  • Support key strategic customers and partners at C-level.

  • Oversee commercial and contractual matters in close collaboration with Legal, Delivery, and Finance.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the German SAP market, particularly in SAP HXM, SuccessFactors, and Managed Payroll Services.

  • Monitor market, customer, and technology trends to continuously refine our sales strategy.

Partner & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate closely with SAP SE and other strategic partners.

  • Align with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Presales, Portfolio, Product Management, and Delivery.

  • Leverage digital tools and social selling to enhance sales efficiency and brand presence.

Representation & Thought Leadership

  • Position SD Worx as a leading provider of SAP-based HR, payroll, and cloud solutions.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking opportunities.

  • Contribute to the evolution of the SD Worx SAP portfolio through market insights and customer feedback.

Your Profile

  • Several years of proven success in SAP sales, ideally in SAP HXM, SuccessFactors, ECP, S/4HANA, Workforce Management, or Managed Payroll Services.

  • Strong experience in building and maintaining executive-level customer relationships.

  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles and achieving ambitious revenue and margin targets.

  • Excellent analytical, commercial, and business acumen.

  • Experience in leading and developing sales teams.

  • Confident stakeholder management across multiple functions.

  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 20%) within Germany.
