Managing Director – Germany (HVAC Specialist)

Location: Germany
We have been retained by a dynamic HVAC manufacturer specialising in innovative chiller and heat pump solutions.
With strong R&D capabilities and comprehensive after-sales support, our client is experiencing significant growth in the European energy efficiency market. Now is your opportunity to lead the German subsidiary while overseeing operations across the Netherlands, Italy, and Belgium.
The Role
We're seeking an entrepreneurial Managing Director to transform and grow a €36M region to €50M + within the next three years. You will have full P&L responsibility for the German subsidiary and oversight of its Benelux and Italian markets, with several sales leaders reporting to you.
This isn't a typical corporate role; we need someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where quick decisions drive results. You'll build on their strong portfolio of HVAC solutions, including heat pumps and Chillers, to accelerate growth in a high-demand market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the German subsidiary operations whilst overseeing in the Netherlands, Italy and Belgium
- Manage full P&L responsibility, including financial reporting and budget management
- Build and lead high-performing teams across sales, service, and technical functions
- Collaborate with global R&D to bring innovative solutions to market
Required Experience
- 5 years in a leadership role within the HVAC Industry
- Proven track record of growing turnover and EBITDA goals
- Non-negotiable experience in chiller/heat pump markets
- Fluency in German and English (Dutch/Italian a plus)
- Thrives in fast-paced environments where quick decisions drive results.
