suena energy is a green tech startup specializing in algorithmic energy trading for energy storage systems and renewable energies.

Our vision: a world where clean energy is used reliably, economically, and intelligently. With our AI-based optimization and trading software, we maximize the revenues of operators of large-scale energy storage and renewable assets on short-term electricity and balancing markets - while simultaneously minimizing their risks.

We are a 35-people team, which combines coziness and fast-paced dynamics. Following our successful Series A, we're investing in expanding our team – and we're excited to strengthen our team with new talent and continue growing together

• Collaborate closely with our CFO and the Finance & Commercial teams, supporting both operational and strategic finance topics.
• Prepare and follow up on meetings with investors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Automate and optimize reporting, billing, and finance workflows using digital tools and your analytical mindset.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of trading performance to support the Commercial Team in developing pricing strategies.
• Support in financial modelling, budgeting, and the development of dashboards and KPI monitoring for business reviews.
• Act as an information hub between finance, commercial, and operations – making critical insights accessible for the whole team.

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• First professional experience (working student / internships) in fast-paced environments such as (student) consulting, start-/scale-ups or similar fields.
• You are highly proficient in Excel and use it confidently for financial analysis, modeling, and reporting. You are also comfortable with Notion (or similar collaboration tools).
• Exceptionally structured, reliable, and proactive – you spot what needs to be done and act on it.
• Discreet and trustworthy – comfortable working with sensitive financial information.
• Ambitious and eager to learn – ready to shape your own role and grow with us.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience in the energy sector or trading is a plus, but your analytical mindset and drive for impact matter most.
