Project Finance Manager
Location: Hamburg
Our client is seeking a Project Finance Manager to support post-FID financing across projects in construction and operation. Working with Treasury, Corporate Finance, and Asset Management, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial performance and long-term success of the project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financing activities for post-FID projects, including drawdowns and liquidity planning.
- Develop budgets and financial forecasts, track performance, and initiate corrective actions when required.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project value.
- Collaborate with internal teams—project management, legal, senior leadership, and shareholders—providing financial guidance throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with financing obligations, covenants, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards; prepare financial reports and documentation.
- Manage consolidated debt reporting for shareholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, or investment banking.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Strategic thinker with strong risk-awareness and sound knowledge of regulatory and reporting requirements.
