OverviewAre you an experienced HR professional looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a global organisation? Arthur J. Gallagher, one of the world's largest insurance brokerage and risk management firms, is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our team in Germany.
At Gallagher, we are committed to delivering tailored insurance solutions, effective risk management strategies, and a strategic approach to organisational wellbeing. As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our managers and employees across the region, ensuring HR best practices and commercially focused solutions are implemented.
How you'll make an impact- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, building strong relationships and driving positive outcomes.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll documentation, and employee benefits.
- Handle employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.
- Support restructuring, office closures, relocations, acquisitions, and disposals, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.
- Collaborate on annual HR processes, including performance management, pay reviews, and benefits administration.
- Maintain accurate employee data and generate HR reports to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and HR governance standards.
- Experienced in an HR generalist role within a multinational corporation.
- Possesses strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance regulations in Germany and Switzerland (knowledge of other European countries is a plus).
- Fluent in English and German (additional European languages are advantageous).
- Proficient in HR systems (e.g., Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Eligible to work in Germany.
