Job Summary:

The Program Director for E2E Application Management Services will lead the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of application management across the board. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of banking applications from inception through development, deployment, maintenance, and retirement. The Program Director will ensure that application management services are delivered efficiently, meet the evolving needs of the business, align with industry standards, and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership
  : Define and implement a strategic vision for managing the client's applications end-to-end, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Program Management
  : Oversee multiple project teams and streams within the E2E Application Management Service Operating Model, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
• Stakeholder Management
  : Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors. Ensure that application management strategies meet business needs and expectations.
• Risk Management
  : Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with application management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and minimizing potential impacts on business operations.
• Technology Innovation
  : Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends. Advocate for and lead the adoption of technologies and practices that can enhance application performance and customer satisfaction.
• Budget Management
  : Develop and manage the budget for application management services, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost efficiency.
• Team Leadership
  : Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals and project managers. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in IT program management, with a strong focus on application development and management within the banking or financial services industry.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing large, cross-functional teams and complex IT projects.
• Deep understanding of the banking industry's regulatory environment and compliance standards.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in German Language
