Technical Product Manager (all genders), Hamburg

The Role

As a Technical Product Manager, you are the bridge between business, clinical expertise, and engineering. You translate market and domain needs into a clear roadmap, prioritize features, maintain the backlog, and plan rollouts. You'll work closely with the CEO, CTO, database specialists, engineers, and medical experts at the company and well as partners.

What you'll do

  • Translate business and industry requirements into epics, user stories, and a well-structured backlog
  • Build and maintain a product roadmap (Pilot → Germany rollout → international scale)
  • Prioritize features by business value and technical feasibility
  • Plan sprints and releases together with the CTO
  • Ensure transparency and reporting to leadership and stakeholders
  • Think ahead on UX (user journeys, wireframes, first prototypes) ahead of hiring a dedicated UX/UI role

What you bring

  • Experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or Delivery Manager in SaaS/B2B
  • Solid technical fluency (APIs, databases, SaaS architectures) — you can speak with engineers as peers
  • Experienced, confident stakeholder management across a heterogeneous audience: clinicians (physicians, nursing, admin), and teams at medical device manufacturers (logistics, operations, sales, regulatory, etc.), as well as the team
  • Proven track record building roadmaps, backlogs, and rollout plans
  • UX awareness: you can create user journeys and wireframes
  • Hands-on mindset — you like to build from 0.1 to 1 quickly
  • Bonus: Experience in HealthTech

About our Client

Our client is a Hamburg-based HealthTech startup building the digital infrastructure for the global medical device industry. We connect manufacturers, hospitals, and logistics partners on one platform to deliver transparency, efficiency, and data intelligence across a €600B market.

Founded in March 2025 and backed by €2.2M in seed funding, they've developed a universal industry taxonomy with our launch customer Silony Spine and are about to go live with our first clinic and will roll out across the entire hospital group next. From next year, additional medical device manufacturers and hospitals will be onboarded.

Their platform unifies SaaS procurement, marketplace capabilities, predictive inventory, purchasing/sales/production orchestration, and an ecosystem of integrations.
