Cost Control Engineer

We are hiring a
Project Control Engineer
for our project in the Stuttgart region, Germany. This role involves managing project planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance reporting throughout all phases of execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)
  • Define and manage project baselines, including schedules, critical path, and progress tracking tools
  • Implement and update planning, progress measurement, and reporting systems
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering progress, productivity, and cost performance
  • Conduct time impact analysis, support claim management, and assess extension of time requests
  • Monitor project costs including actuals, accruals, commitments, and earned value metrics
  • Prepare and update cash flow forecasts, cost reports, production estimates, and client invoicing
  • Coordinate closely with Quantity Surveyors, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction functions
  • Participate in risk analysis and change control processes

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (mandatory, due to project/client communication needs)
    ; German language skills are appreciated but not required
  • Valid work authorization for Germany is required for this position
  • Availability for a prompt start is preferred
  • Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project control in industrial or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in
    Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and ERP systems
  • Strong foundation in planning, cost control, earned value analysis, and risk assessment
  • Accuracy, problem-solving ability, and organizational discipline under time pressure
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, IPMA) are a plus
