Position Summary
: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced team player to join us at SmartCAE as Business Analyst. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B software and consulting, preferably with proven experience in pharma logistics and cold chain. This role involves supporting global partners, attending trade shows, managing pilot projects, evaluating business performance, and developing strategies for business growth and market expansion. Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term business relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Support global SmartCAE partners to be successful in their local markets
  • Preparing sales documentation
  • Manage customer data and analytics in our CRM tool Hubspot
  • Plan and conduct customer workshops around the globe
  • Develop and implement strategies for business development and market expansion
  • Analyze market and competitive data to identify new business opportunities
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics
  • Manage pilot projects
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, webinars to present SmartCAE technology to customers
  • Support the planning of the profitable growth structure and develop the marketing strategy for SmartCAE

Your Profile:

  • Sense of humor, strong team player, and the ability to recognize and seize serendipitous opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills, and a confident and empathetic presence
  • Strategic and fast thinking, pragmatic, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Fast learner with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows around the world
  • Several years of professional experience in business development, sales, consulting, or key account management, ideally in B2B software and/or pharma logistics
  • Understand sales process and marketing strategies
  • Experience in HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Successfully completed studies in engineering, computer science, pharmacy, physics, chemistry, or a comparable qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of the cold chain and the specific requirements and challenges of pharma logistics would be an advantage
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and German at least at level B2
  • Other foreign languages such as Japanese, Chinese or Korean would be a plus
