You'll make an impact by
- You define and implement G2M strategies for the IOT and cybersecurity portfolio for the assigned countries, and you run technical relationships and sales with assigned customers for power distributions and automation systems, focusing on IoT digitalization and cybersecurity solutions.
- You translate customer requirements into our IoT portfolio offerings, technical solutions, and architectures based on the Integrated Solution Model, and you provide technical support on product integration into power systems.
- You support Key Account Managers and Account Managers in developing account strategies including the IoT portfolio and translating customer needs into technical solutions aligned with our portfolio.
- You act as the primary technical contact for assigned regions, customers and verticals, you translate customer requirements into IoT portfolio offerings, technical solutions, and architectures based on the Integrated Solution Model, and you cultivate positive relationships with customers by being responsive, trustworthy, and reliable.
- You provide industry-specific portfolio and solution recommendations including our IoT and cybersecurity portfolio and support the sales process with insights into technical feasibility and implementation costs.
- You drive sales of digital IoT products and cybersecurity services across all verticals, plan and implement strategic sales targets to ensure continuous and profitable order intake for the growing IoT business, proactively drive the IoT portfolio, including the Electrification X partner portfolio, and build bridges between Account Management, Sales Acceleration Teams, Customer Solution Architects, and delivery partners.
Your defining qualities
- You have many years of sales experience, preferably in IoT, cybersecurity services, or IT-related fields, and you are proficient in IoT technologies, cloud platforms, communication protocols and standards (e.g., MQTT, Modbus TCP/IP, IEC61850).
- You have experience with regional and international customers, a strong understanding of customer investment and buying behavior, and excellent customer orientation, negotiation skills, communication abilities, and confident demeanor.
- You have product and system knowledge in medium and low-voltage switchgear, experience with e-houses and software sales is a plus, adequate knowledge of contract law and a master's degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, economics, or business administration.
- You have a strong dedication, reliability, sense of responsibility, resilience, and an independent style of working.
- Willingness to travel internationally (at least 30%), intercultural experience and proficiency in English completes your profile.
