Your mission
  • Responsibility for planning, managing and controlling selected development projects – from requirements gathering to successful implementation
  • Ensuring structured yet flexible project management that can respond to changing customer requirements and specifications
  • Prioritising projects in line with corporate goals and the roadmap without losing the necessary agility in day-to-day business
  • Developing and maintaining project controlling for time, costs, quality and resources – even in dynamically changing conditions
  • Early identification of conflicting objectives (e.g. between time, costs, customer specifications) and proactive decision-making in consultation with the stakeholders involved
  • Establishing structures for efficient change management
  • Central coordination role between development, product development, application engineering, support, laboratories and sales – with the aim of involving all parties at an early stage and ensuring smooth processes
  • Ensuring a clear and transparent flow of information about project status, requirements, risks and results in all relevant directions
  • Translation of customer and market requirements (e.g. from sales or product management) into concrete technical development tasks and realistic schedules
  • Establishment and maintenance of clear communication and escalation channels so that questions or problems can be identified early on and solved efficiently
  • Continuous exchange with support in order to incorporate feedback from the field into future development decisions, CIP
  • Acting as an interface to sales in order to communicate technical project progress and dependencies to customers in a clear and reliable manner
  • Promoting an open feedback culture between departments in order to avoid misunderstandings and strengthen cooperation
Your profile
  • A degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position in development, preferably in the electronics or software industry, with an understanding of how to manage the technical, organisational and economic aspects of complex projects in a targeted manner
  • Very good knowledge of project management (classical methods and agile approaches) in order to select the appropriate methodology and adapt it to the requirements of customer projects and product development
  • Experience in setting up and optimising processes within a development organisation
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills to effectively manage parallel projects and resources
  • Ability to set priorities and make informed decisions even under time pressure
  • Ability to balance and integrate different interests (customer, sales, development, manufacturing, management)
  • Proactive problem-solving mentality, negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset paired with a hands-on mentality
  • Change competence with the ability to respond flexibly to changing market and customer requirements without losing sight of the strategic course
