Job Summary

We're seeking a Managing Engineering Consultant: Planning to lead the planning and scheduling functions across complex MEP and Data Center projects in Europe. The role focuses on developing integrated project schedules, overseeing sub-project delivery teams, and ensuring alignment between time, cost, and performance for a top-tier global contractor.

We are currently looking for candidates based in Frankfurt, Germany or surrounding areasand willing to commute.

 Our Ideal Candidate

You're a seasoned planner who thrives in high-performance project environments and knows how to bring clarity and predictability to complex build programmes. You can lead planning from concept through commissioning, mentor junior planners, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure MEP milestones are achieved. You use your technical expertise to integrate planning systems, risk analysis, and earned value metrics while promoting lean methodologies and data transparency.

You also have an active interest in engaging with the construction processitself, not just the data. You enjoy walking the site, communicating with construction teams, and validating programme progress firsthand. You understand that strong planning is grounded in collaboration with site engineers, supervisors, and project leads.

Experience Required

• 8–12 years of experience in project planning or project controls, ideally within MEP or data center construction.

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, with strong understanding of schedule logic, critical path analysis, and resource allocation.

• Proven leadership experience in managing planning teams across design, construction, and commissioning stages.

• Strong working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and safety standards.

• Familiarity with recognised project management frameworks (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2) and use of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for structuring delivery.

• Demonstrated ability to analyse project data, forecast performance, and develop contingency strategies to maintain delivery confidence.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex scheduling data into clear, actionable insights.

• Experience or Interest demonstrated on pushing the boundaries with respect to construction delivery by utilising digitalisation, data and technology.
