Global Head of Brand Early Pipeline (Snr Director/ Exec Director)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen within a leading, innovation-driven pharmaceutical company committed to delivering value-based, patient-centric healthcare solutions. As Global Head of Brand, Early Pipeline (Senior Director/Executive Director), you will play a pivotal role on the Leadership Team, shaping and driving bold, forward-looking asset and commercial strategies for a newly established business unit.

With a diverse portfolio of promising assets in development and strong growth ambitions, this role offers a unique chance to influence the future direction of a transformative organisation, along with building a team from the ground up, managing medical, access and marketing leads.

Sitting at the intersection of science, strategy, and commercialisation, you will lead a cross-functional global team through the critical journey from Proof of Concept to Release of Full Development. This is the opportunity to shape how early science becomes real-world impact, crafting an integrated brand vision that maximises both clinical and commercial potential.

This is not just another portfolio leadership role. It is a foundational position with a mandate to build and steer the company's next-generation obesity and liver health growth platform from the ground up. Operating at a global level, you will influence key strategic decisions, define future commercial pathways, and help guide my client's transition from established metabolic excellence to the next era of obesity and liver health innovation, where patient insight and bold science converge to change the standard of care.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Medical or Life Sciences or Business (MD, PhD or MBA or equivalent)
  • Long-term experience in drug development to commercialisation required within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, bringing assets from early development to pre-launch
  • Therapeutic experience aligning to obesity/liver health and/or consumer-focused sectors strongly preferred
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of global markets (USA, EU and APAC)
  • Strong experience in programme management, asset development, market access, marketing and commercial
  • Several years of experience in leading international and cross-functional project teams
  • Proven experience in managing teams directly and building teams from the ground up
