Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales & Business Development Advisor with a robust background in both technical and commercial aspects of real estate. This role will focus on bridging our technical advisory services with our commercial leasing, valuation, and transaction offerings. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in sales in the real estate sector, particularly within the German market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the firm's goals, specifically targeting clients in the German market.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying their needs and offering tailored advisory solutions.
  • Technical and Commercial Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex advisory services into commercial opportunities, ensuring seamless communication and understanding.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, providing insights to guide sales initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leasing, valuation, and transaction teams to facilitate integrated service offerings and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations for high-value deals, ensuring favourable outcomes for both the firm and the client.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry events and conferences, sharing insights and expertise to enhance the firm's profile in the market.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets and achieve growth.
  • Business Development: Work closely together with Marketing & Communications and Research departments to increase Market Intelligence and Penetration.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a strong focus on sales and business development
  • Proven track record in running a sales organization integrating technical advisory with commercial sales
  • Deep understanding of the German real estate market, including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and client needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market trends
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
