Middle Office Accounting Senior Expert M/F

This role involves guaranteeing the accuracy of Financials (Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss) while overseeing complex accounting calculations, closing reviews, and regulatory reporting for the assigned legal entities. The Middle Office Accounting Senior Expert will lead Accounting transformation initiatives, including IT system implementations, process harmonization, and the onboarding of new business tenders.

What you do

Accounting Calculations

• Execute precise computations involving provisions and accruals.

• Verify the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of entries recorded in the accounting systems, providing feedback on any recurring issues detected.
• Conduct a thorough Sanity Check on Suspense Accounts, premiums, service revenue, claims, commissions, payroll, investments, FX, and tax.
• Guarantee Closing Quality Assurance by adhering to standard booking procedures and Accounting Policies.
• Track and report on the progress of the closing process.
• Carry out a post-mortem analysis of the closing review to identify, monitor, and resolve issues, while designing and implementing process improvements.

Accounting process automation and enhancement

• Spearhead transformation initiatives in Accounting Processes and Regulatory Reporting as a Subject Matter Expert, encompassing IT system implementations, process standardization, and the onboarding of new business through tenders
