Job Description SummaryColibrium Additive is seeking an experienced and proactive Site HR Leader to join our team in Lichtenfels, Germany. This role combines local HR leadership for Germany with global HR business partner responsibilities for Supply Chain including Sourcing, Quality, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). The successful candidate will also lead global HR projects, collaborate with the Germany works council, and implement HR initiatives aligned with GE Aerospace and Colibrium Additive strategies.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities

HR Leadership for Germany:

  • Serve as the HR leader for Germany, providing day-to-day HR support for teams at the Lichtenfels site together with one HR team member.
  • Proactively collaborate with the Germany works council to ensure compliance with labor laws and foster positive labor relations.
  • Partner with HR colleagues and Centers of Expertise (COEs) to define and improve HR policies and processes for Germany and Colibrium Additive.
  • Implement GE Aerospace and Colibrium Additive HR initiatives locally, including consultation, communication, and change management for leaders and employees.

Global HR Business Partner Responsibilities:

  • Act as the HR business partner for global functions, currently focused on Supply Chain, including Sourcing, Quality, and EHS.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to global leaders, supporting workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.
  • Lead and contribute to global HR projects, driving continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

HR Strategy and Execution:

  • Collaborate with HR colleagues and COEs such as People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards to ensure HR processes and policies are effective, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across local and global teams.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning for critical roles.
Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing or supply chain environment in a global, matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of German labor laws and experience working with works councils.
  • Global HR experience, including partnering with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies.

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in data analytics and the ability to leverage data for decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on driving efficiency and enhancing HR processes and systems.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and tools, with a strong understanding of data-driven HR practices.
