Procurement Manager

Start: Immediately | Level: Mid-Senior | Location: Hamburg, hybrid | Work Time: Fulltime (40h/week)

As Procurement Manager (gn), you will design and manage an efficient procurement and P2P framework across indirect spend categories such as marketing, professional services, and general OPEX.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Finance, IT, and Marketing to ensure cost efficiency, process compliance, and data quality - creating real impact across a €1B business.

Your mission
Strategic Procurement

• You develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect categories such as marketing and professional services
• You identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and leverage economies of scale
• You collaborate with stakeholders to define sourcing requirements balancing cost, quality, and speed

Vendor Management & Negotiation

• You lead supplier selection, evaluation, and negotiation to achieve optimal cost, quality, and contract terms
• You establish and manage preferred supplier lists and framework agreements
• You ensure all supplier contracts meet legal and compliance requirements

Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Ownership

• You own and continuously improve the end-to-end P2P process, from requisition to payment
• You define clear policies, workflows, and approval structures to ensure efficiency and auditability
• You collaborate with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing
• You support automation initiatives such as AI-based invoice validation or automatic cost center allocation

Process & System Optimization

• You enhance SAP, Finway, and related systems to improve transparency, control, and efficiency
• You build reporting dashboards for spend analysis, vendor performance, and compliance monitoring
• You partner with IT and Finance to ensure accurate data integration and system alignment

Change & Enablement

• You empower employees to purchase efficiently and compliantly by providing tools, training, and guidance
• You foster a culture of professional, standardized procurement across the organization

Your Experience & Skills

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
• You bring several years of experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or P2P management
• You have strong knowledge of SAP and tools such as Finway
• You are an excellent negotiator with a data-driven mindset and structured working style
• You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and driving change in a fast-paced environment
