I working with an ocean plastic prevention company who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager/Lead for their team in Hamburg. It's a relatively young team, working to recover the plastic and change them into circular products.
 
The responsibilities are as follows: 
  • Developing procurement strategies that are meeting our impact, logistic, material, and budget requirements.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure fair and equal terms.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Approving purchase orders and organising and confirming delivery of goods and services
I'd be eager  to hear from you if you've worked in a start-up environment with an FMCG / Chemical / Packaging company.
