As a Senior Solutions Engineer, collaborate with teams to utilize Akamai technologies for impactful customer solutions. Build relationships with new and existing customers while delivering solutions that serve millions. Act as a trusted technical resource, supporting engineering and business teams to meet customer needs effectively.

As a Solutions Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for:

• Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers.
• Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate.
• Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customers' needs.
• Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Building technical expertise in Cloud Computing to support Akamai's overall business growth.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience working in a customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post sale role.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the internet protocols and cloud-based technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Have interest in and understanding of online cybersecurity threats and technologies.
• Demonstrate experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment.
• Have a proficiency English level.
