About the role
Would you like to help shape the future of AI in a dynamic trading environment? As a Working Student: Data & AI d/f/m at RWE Supply & Trading, you'll play a hands-on role in driving innovation - developing practical AI agents, building proof-of-concepts, and researching the very latest best practices in applied artificial intelligence. You'll help build a culture where colleagues see AI as an exciting opportunity, championing its empowering potential and driving adoption in a fully collaborative setting.
- Support the development and implementation of AI agents and related proof-of-concepts designed to transform business processes
- Research and evaluate AI best practices, including semantic storage options and automation frameworks for corporate use
- Design, build, and deliver small-scale tools, scripts, and automation solutions in Python to solve real business problems
- Structure, analyse, and prepare impactful data sets to guide internal decision-making
- Create and contribute to compelling PowerPoint presentations and technical documentation for a wide range of stakeholders
Job requirements and experience
- First experience or a keen interest in any of these: AI agents, large language models (LLMs), machine learning, Python development, and/or automation tools (e.g., n8n)
- Self-driven and structured approach with a willingness to explore emerging technologies and innovate independently
- Eagerness to communicate clearly and present technical topics to various audiences
- Curiosity and quick adaptability to learn unfamiliar subjects and tools
- A fresh, unbiased perspective that challenges the status quo and inspires the team to think differently
Advantageous, but not essential
- Advanced programming skills
- Knowledge of financial or commodities markets
