We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT Web Support & Project Assistant to support our client's digital operations on-site in Düsseldorf. This role combines technical web maintenance with light project coordination duties, making it ideal for a candidate with both front-end web skills and an interest in agile project management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the client's corporate website, including content updates, UI improvements, and front-end development. Additionally, they will support internal project workflows by tracking technical tasks, facilitating communication between teams, and assisting in agile ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Web Operations & Front-End Support
o Perform routine maintenance and updates on the company's German corporate website
o Edit and publish web content, including text, images, and multimedia elements
o Implement front-end changes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
o Support UI/UX improvements and ensure responsive design across devices
o Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in coordination with internal or external developers
o Maintain design consistency and brand alignment across web properties
- Project & Process Coordination
o Act as a coordination point between IT, business analysts, and development teams
o Assist in Scrum/Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
o Serve as Scrum Master or Agile facilitator for small internal teams or workstreams
o Track and document technical tasks, requirements, and change requests
o Maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and action logs
o Monitor progress and support timely delivery of deliverables
o Ensure transparency and traceability in development and implementation processes
Qualifications and skills:
- Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end web development
o Experience with static or native-code websites (no CMS-heavy platforms required)
o Basic graphic design or web design sense (e.g., layout, typography, image editing)
o A degree in computer science, electronic information, Mathematics, or management science is required.
- Project & Collaboration Skills:
o Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
o Experience in Scrum Master or project coordination roles (even in small teams)
o Strong organizational and documentation skills
o Ability to track multiple tasks and follow up proactively
- Language & Soft Skills:
o German language skills are preferred (B1 or above)
o Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
o Professional, service-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a corporate environment
o On-site availability in Düsseldorf is mandatory
