, a Cost and Project Management Consultancy within the construction industry, provides a wide range of services to clients spanning several different sectors.

About the Role:

As part of our ongoing growth in the German Project & Cost Management team, Cumming Group is seeking a forward-thinking Office Lead in
Berlin
with expertise in the Construction and Real Estate sectors. You will play a key role in expanding our German portfolio, with a particular focus on the refurbishment and repositioning of existing projects and business development. We are interested in candidates who are passionate about making a difference, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and possess a strong track record of project delivery.

The role of a Office Lead Includes the following responsibilities:

  • Provide Project Management services through pre and post contract process
  • To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
  • To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
  • Work with senior members of staff to gather market testing data of key elements for the developments
  • To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Provide assistance on general project management tasks such as meeting minutes, dashboard reporting, risk management etc.
  • Prepare and assist with the preparing and issuing tender documents, evaluations, contract documentations and reports
  • Prepare and assist with the production of cost reports and cost forecasting
  • Advising and liaising with internal project and cost control team

Key Attributes:

  • Degree qualified in Construction or similar technical discipline
  • Working towards Chartered status
  • Ideally a minimum of 6
    +
    years' experience of working in the Construction industry
  • A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
  • Likeable and warm personality which will fit in and become an integral part of the team
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
  • Hospitality or real estate background
