About Us
Our IT Governance Team - IT Operations is dedicated to ensuring secure, stable, and regulatory-compliant IT operations according to banking standards. We are responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving essential IT processes. Our team plays a crucial role in coordinating and collaborating with the operational IT departments (development, operations), as well as other areas of IT Governance. Your contributions will be vital in advancing our IT Governance strategy during our strategic realignment.

Role Overview
We are looking for experienced specialists (Assistant Manager or Manager) to design and implement processes in at least one of the three focus areas outlined below. This role allows you to leverage your expertise and strategically advance FFB's IT capabilities. Depending on your role, you will focus on one of the following main areas, with knowledge of adjacent topics being advantageous:

Focus Areas
Service Availability & Operational Continuity:

  • IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM)
  • Business Impact Analyses, Emergency Concepts, Test and Exercise Scenarios

Service Operations & Incident Management

  • Event, Incident, and Problem Management
  • Management of Service Requests and Disruptions

Service Asset, Configuration & Capacity Management

  • Service Asset & Configuration Management (CMDB)
  • Capacity and Availability Management (also relevant for Service Availability & Operational Continuity)
  • Experience with CMDB systems, ideally ServiceNow

Your Responsibilities – Regardless Of Focus Area

  • Design and optimise processes within your area of responsibility.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as DORA, MaRisk, BAIT, and NIS2.
  • Define process-based requirements for implementation in ServiceNow.
  • Conduct trainings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions for new procedures.
  • Perform KPI/Trend Analyses for process evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with departments, IT operations, compliance, and audit teams.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews.

What You Should Bring

  • Several years of experience in relevant areas.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL V3 and/or V4 (Foundation certificate desirable).
  • Basic understanding of COBIT.
  • Experience with (banking) regulatory requirements (DORA, MaRisk, BAIT, EBA guidelines are a plus).
  • Practical experience in process design and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and training skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to embrace challenges in a dynamic, growing environment.
  • Proficiency in German and English languages.
