Your function

EGI wishes to reinforce its team to support international clients in navigating the complex environment in which they operate. To achieve this, we are looking for a motivated intern/working student to support the Asset Management & Operations team at Elia Grid International.

As an intern or working student, you will contribute to international consulting projects supporting Transmission System Operators and other energy stakeholders. You will assist the team in developing methodologies and processes, performing qualitative and quantitative technical and economic assessments, and supporting the implementation of asset management processes, methodologies and strategies.

Your tasks include:
  • Supporting the development and enhancement of processes, procedures, models and tools for asset analytics.
  • Contributing to the analysis of organisation and asset performance.
  • Conducting data analysis, interviews and reporting to support project deliverables.
  • Assisting in the preparation of presentations, reports, and client deliverables.
  • Collaborating with international experts across projects in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The exact scope and duration of your internship can be discussed based on your background and interests (minimum duration: 6 months).

Your profile
  • You are currently completing or have recently obtained a Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a Master's degree in management.
  • You have strong programming skills with experience in R or Python.
  • You are driven, analytical, and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude.
  • You have a genuine interest in the electricity sector, grid operations, and asset management.
  • You are comfortable working in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
  • You have strong communication skills in English (knowledge of French, Dutch, or German is an advantage).
