Head of UI/UX
About the Role

We're looking for a Head of UI/UX to own and shape the end-to-end user experience of the tracebloc platform. You will design how data scientists, AI partners, and enterprise stakeholders onboard, collaborate, and realize value — across both product and website.

This role goes far beyond visual design. You will remove friction across the entire user journey, drive activation and product-led growth, and translate complex AI workflows into simple, intuitive interactions.

You will work directly with the founding team and engineering to build a product experience that feels inevitable — and becomes the industry standard for secure AI collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Product Experience Ownership

  • Own the full user journey from website → signup → onboarding → first model run → expansion.
  • Define and enforce UX principles, interaction patterns, and visual language across the platform.

UX Strategy & Execution

  • Translate product requirements and user insights into clear flows, prototypes, and interface designs.
  • Build and maintain a scalable design system for speed and consistency.
  • Turn complex workflows (fine-tuning, benchmarking, distributed training) into intuitive experiences.

Activation & PLG Metrics

  • Identify friction along the user journey and remove it proactively.
  • Measure and optimize key product metrics (activation, time-to-value, drop-off, expansion triggers).
  • Continuously test and validate UX changes through analytics and user feedback.

User Research & Validation

  • Run user interviews with data scientists, procurement stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Turn qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions and product improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, product, and leadership as the voice of the user.
  • Present design rationale clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders.
  • Establish foundations for a future design team.

Required Experience & SkillsExperience

  • 5+ years in UX/UI for complex SaaS or technical products.
  • Experience designing workflows for technical users (e.g., developers, data teams, ML engineers).
  • Proven track record improving activation, onboarding, or usability for a product.

Skills

  • Strong interaction & UX design skills, backed by real outcomes.
  • Ability to simplify highly technical workflows into intuitive interfaces.
  • Comfort working across both product and marketing surfaces (product UI + website).
  • Experience with prototyping, design systems, and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with product-led growth and metrics-driven design.
