About The Opportunity:

• We are looking for a creative, proactive Marketing Assistant to support our Berlin marketing team with daily content creation, social media management, and on-site storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who loves food, culture, and social media, and who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• You will play a key role in shaping how our market, restaurants, and events are represented online, from TikTok and Instagram to newsletters and in-house screens.

How we see the role & what you will do:

• Content Creation
  • Film, photograph, and edit high-quality content showcasing our restaurants, dishes, events, and daily life at the market.
  • Prepare short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
  • Write engaging captions, headlines, scripts and micro-stories.
  • Support the Graphic Designer with simple design tasks (e.g., story templates, simple layouts).
• Social Media Management
  • Help to manage all social media channels across our brands, including Manifesto Potsdamer Platz, Kalle Halle, and HIMITSU.
  • Schedule and publish posts according to the weekly content plan.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and community interactions.
  • Track performance metrics and identify weekly insights
  • Assist in developing content calendars and campaign ideas.
• On-Site Coordination
  • Attend events, openings, and special activities to capture real-time content.
  • Work closely with restaurants to gather updates, new dishes, chef stories, and behind-the-scenes material.
  • Support PR and influencer activities on-site (welcoming, orientation, content facilitation).
• Marketing Support
  • Assist with newsletters and basic copywriting as needed.
  • Help maintain media libraries and brand asset folders.
  • Contribute ideas for campaigns, collaborations, and local marketing initiatives.

This could be your job if you:

• 1–2 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing (experience in an agency or hospitality environment is a plus).
• Strong mobile content creation skills (filming, photography, editing, transitions, sound syncing).
• Good eye for design, storytelling, and current social media trends.
• Proficient knowledge of tools like Canva, CapCut or other editing tools.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to work on-site regularly and attend evening/weekend events when needed.
