Development Engineer – Filtration Media (m/f/d)

Join a leading global life sciences company at the forefront of biopharmaceutical innovation. We are seeking a Development Engineer to drive the advancement and commercialization of cutting-edge depth filtration technologies used in biotechnological applications.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage R&D projects from concept through to production scale.
  • Research and develop novel filtration media and processes.
  • Analyze customer workflows and design tailored filtration solutions for bioprocessing.
  • Contribute to scientific publications and patent filings.
  • Conduct hands-on work in laboratory and pilot-scale environments.
  • Support continuous improvement of existing methods and processes.
  • Opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities in the future.

What You Bring

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in process engineering, bioprocess engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in biotechnology or biopharmaceuticals.
  • Strong understanding of filtration technologies in biotechnological settings.
  • Fluent in German with excellent English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (~10%) and possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Collaborative mindset and a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
