Die Bulk Payments Tribe liefert die technologischen Lösungen für die Massenzahlungen der Bank. Eine dieser Lösungen ist die SEPA-Zahlungs-Engine, die etwas mehr als 90 % des gesamten Zahlungsvolumens der Deutsche Bank verarbeitet. Die Tribe zeichnet sich durch eine enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen IT und den Kolleg:innen der Firmenkundenbank aus. Unsere Aufgabe ist die Integration, Weiterentwicklung sowie Neuentwicklung der Massenzahlungssysteme der Bank.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Als Development Engineer ist es Ihre Aufgabe, aktiv bestehende oder neue Zahlungslösungen für die Bank zu verbessern oder zu entwickeln. Dies umfasst sowohl die Wartung der aktuellen Systeme inkl. Fehlerbehebung als auch die Unterstützung neuer Lösungen von der Konzeption über die Entwicklung bis zum Produktionsstart.

• Wartung der bestehenden Systeme durch kontinuierliche Updates der verwendeten Software- und Bibliotheksversionen unter Anwendung agiler Methoden, z. B. SCRUM

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

• Hochschulabschluss in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation

• Mindestens 3 Jahre Entwicklungserfahrung, davon mindestens 2 Jahre in agilen/SDLC-Teams, idealerweise mit Cloud-Erfahrung Gutes Verständnis von Microservice-basierter Entwicklung. Erfahrung mit Frameworks wie Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

• Gute Kenntnisse in der Containerisierung mit Docker und Kubernetes sowie praktische Erfahrung mit modernen Entwicklungstools wie Maven, Jenkins etc. Erfahrung mit Cloud-Technologien wie OpenShift/GCP

• Kenntnisse moderner JavaScript-Frameworks, z. B. Angular, HTML5, Bootstrap, , REST-Prinzipien und verwandte Technologien. Kenntnisse in SQL und relationalen Datenbanken

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit IntelliJ, Java 17/21, Junit5, Lombok, Mockito, Open API, SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Angular, Golang

• Infrastruktur-Know-how mit Oracle, MongoDB, MQ, Kafka, Linux, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, GCP

• Kenntnisse im Zahlungsverkehr sind willkommen, aber nicht erforderlich, z. B. SEPA, ISO 20022

Details of the role and how it fits into the team

The Bulk Payments Tribe delivers the technological solutions for the mass-payments of the bank. One of these solutions is the SEPA-payments-engine, which processes a little over 90% of the total payments volume of Deutsche Bank. The tribe is characterized by close collaboration between IT and the colleagues of the corporate bank. Our task is the integration, further development as well as new development of the banks mass-payment systems.

Your key responsibilities

• As a Development Engineer, it is your task to actively improve or create new payment solutions for the bank. This involves both maintaining the current systems incl. defect correction as well as supporting new solutions from conception, through development, to production launch

• Maintenance of the existing systems by continuous updates of the software and library versions in use using agile methods, e.g. SCRUM

Your skills and experiences

• University degree in computer science or business informatics or any comparable qualification

• At least 3 years of development experience, including at least 2 years in Agile/SDLC teams, ideally with cloud experience

• Good understanding of Microservice based development. Experience with frameworks like Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

• Good knowledge of containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as practical experience with modern development tools such as Maven, Jenkins, etc. Experience working with cloud technologies such as OpenShift/GCP

• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, e.g. Angular, HTML5, Bootstrap, , REST principles and related technologies. Knowledge of SQL and rational databases
