Primary job responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled BESS Project Commissioning and Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including project planning, execution, commissioning, and post-commissioning support of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This role involves close collaboration with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and optimal performance of BESS projects.

  • Lead and execute commissioning activities for BESS projects, ensuring systems meet design specifications and performance standards.
  • Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders during project implementation and after commissioning.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project progress.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to guarantee operational reliability and safety.
  • Develop and maintain commissioning plans, test procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Train clients and end-users on system operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and lessons learned from commissioning activities.

Professional and personal competences

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in commissioning and technical support within energy storage or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of BESS components, control systems, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Turkey and to other project sites.
  • Business fluent English communication; proficiency in Turkish would be a plus.
