We are expanding our teams in the S2K based MCS and operations sector to take on our work for ESA Missions.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

The position will be on-site in the client's premises, at ESOC in Darmstadt. The person holding it will interact directly with ESA to perform the following tasks:

  • Cover general support to the DSM and to the FCT for problem investigations, SVT preparation, etc.
  • Provide support to missions both in preparation and in routine phases.
  • Maintain managerial contacts for IT resources.
  • Coordinate activities with different ESOC teams (FCT, FDS, MOI-IT, MMaaS, SIMs Officers, GOMs, GS, etc.).
  • Manage integrations with IT and other services where onsite presence is required.
  • Participate in mission-critical activities (SVTs, SIM Campaigns, LEOPs), providing direct support.
  • Design and implement the Mission Software Architecture.
  • Participate in Ground Segment reviews and meetings.
  • Raise and monitor SPRs affecting the mission and support decisions regarding the scope of new MCS releases.
  • Prepare SRS for new missions in coordination with the FCT.
