About the Opportunity: Lead HFE Strategy and Drive Client Success

As a
Senior Human Factors Engineer
, you will operate as a trusted expert, guiding our clients through the complex HFE landscape. You will take
strong ownership
of your projects, constantly
stepping out of your comfort zone
across different technologies and client needs, ensuring continuous professional growth. A
strong service orientation
is crucial for building lasting client relationships and delivering impactful results.

Key Responsibilities: Expert Leadership & Hands-On Delivery

Client & Project Leadership:

  • Serve as the
    primary HFE expert and representative
    on diverse, cross-functional client projects (e.g., drug delivery systems, surgical robotics, connected health apps).
  • Guide client teams and internal stakeholders on
    HFE strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance
    .

Full-Lifecycle HFE Execution:

  • Lead
    the planning, protocol creation, moderation, analysis, and reporting for
    hands-on user research
    (Formative and Summative Usability Studies).
  • Lead
    design activities
    and provide expert critique for both
    hard- and software interfaces
    , as well as
    packaging and labelling
    across different client products.

Regulatory Compliance & Strategy:

  • Ensure all client HFE deliverables meet stringent global
    regulatory standards
    (e.g., FDA Human Factors Guidance, IEC 62366, MDR).
    Exceptional regulatory know-how is non-negotiable.

  • Demonstrate a
    strong sense of responsibility and ownership
    , driving project success independently while fostering excellent

    and knowledge sharing within the firm.

  • Experience:
    Proven
    HFE expertise
    in
    Pharma or MedTech
    , covering the
    full product lifecycle
    .
  • Mindset:

  • Languages:
    Fluency in German and English
    (written and spoken) is
    mandatory
    .
  • Mobility:
    Enjoy and be comfortable with regular

    to client sites, testing facilities, conferences, and our Swiss holding company.
  • Work Authorization:
    Must have the
    unrestricted right to work in the EU/EEA/Switzerland
    (no sponsorship).
