One of Frankfurt's fastest growing fintechs is looking for an
IT Operations Specialist
to join their IT team, based in
Frankfurt
(hybrid). In this role, you will be a player within a small team to satisfy the demands of the firm's growing presence. You'll be on a team taking care of the entirety of the company's IT tools, devices, processes etc.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual that wants to shape an environment that is built on compliant IT infrastructure in a fast-paced and energetic environment. Terrific communication, collaboration skills, and a positive attitude towards both team members and a wide scope of internal customers are critical to success within this role.

Responsibilities

  • You will support existing IT infrastructure within the company as well as, IT networking and administration
  • You will create, maintain and update system and operational documentation
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as acting as the go-to contact person for any issues and questions regarding IT infrastructure topics
  • Support in the planning and procurement of both hardware and software within the business
  • Collaborate with management as well as communicating with external service providers
  • Closely work and support on internal IT projects
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth integration of IT services, paying strong attention to security, regulatory aspects and data protection; explain and enforce internal processes

Requirements

  • Business fluent in
    German and English
    is a must
  • A degree in computer science, business informatics or similar would be preferred, or relevant IT training/experience
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in IT Operations and previous work in a regulated environment with a focus on retail banking and/or export finance (a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and team spirit
  • Sound knowledge of ITIL or other relevant frameworks
  • Experience working with: Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Azure Cloud would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of IT security
  • REST API and Test Automation
  • Automation of processes: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence)
  • Interested in implementing and accompanying your own ideas from start to finish
  • Committed, personable and communicative
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
