About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ADAS Architect to lead the design and development of advanced driver assistance systems for next-generation vehicles. The role involves defining system architecture, ensuring compliance with automotive standards, and driving innovation in safety, perception, and autonomous functionalities. The ADAS Architect will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, suppliers, and OEMs to deliver scalable and future-proof solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end ADAS/Automated Driving system architecture, covering sensors, perception, fusion, decision, and control domains.
  • Translate functional and performance requirements into system and software architecture.
  • Evaluate and integrate sensor technologies (camera, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic, GPS/IMU).
  • Drive the development of real-time embedded software, middleware, and interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, ISO/SAE
  • Work with AI/ML engineers for perception and sensor fusion algorithms.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and test teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Perform system-level trade-off analysis (safety, cost, power, and performance).
  • Define and review system validation strategies (MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing).
  • Act as a technical authority and mentor for ADAS engineers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years in automotive software development, with 5+ years in ADAS/Autonomous Driving.
  • Strong knowledge of sensor technologies (camera, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic).
  • Expertise in ADAS functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Automated Parking, and Highway Pilot.
  • Proficiency in AUTOSAR (Classic & Adaptive), middleware, and embedded systems.
  • Experience with functional safety (ISO and cybersecurity (ISO/SAE
  • Hands-on experience with model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink) and real-time operating systems.
  • Strong systems engineering and requirements management background (DOORS, Polarion, etc.).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with sensor fusion frameworks and deep learning algorithms.
  • Familiarity with simulation platforms (CarMaker, PreScan, VTD, etc.).
  • Exposure to SOA-based architectures and cloud integration for connected ADAS features.
  • Leadership in cross-functional, multi-site teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
