Four positions are to be advertised for SMO RS P MM in Serbia.

What will you contribute?

  • In your new role, you will ensure the system-based procurement capability of required materials. To this end, you will collect relevant information (prices, suppliers, customs/export data, etc.) for assigned material fields, determine requirements via SAP and approved system bills of materials / quantity structures, and consolidate similar parts for supplier inquiries.
  • In coordination, you will select appropriate suppliers, forward technical documents such as drawings, specifications, and test regulations, request supplier quotations, and compare received offers in SAP.
  • You will also ensure the operational procurement capability by keeping system data such as quantity contracts and purchasing info records up to date. Furthermore, you will request customs and export data, check them for plausibility, and verify completeness.
  • You will manage disruptions that occur in the delivery process (e.g., underdeliveries, overdeliveries, delivery delays, missing drawing changes, quality defects) and settle the resulting differences with suppliers.
  • In addition, you will identify technical changes and communicate them to suppliers. You will record the additional costs resulting from these changes in the system.
  • Up to a defined value limit for indirect procurement, you will negotiate with suppliers (together with Category Management) and, if necessary, conduct follow-up negotiations independently. You will decide whether the award is made in the form of framework or single orders.

What do you bring with you?

  • The foundation of your success is a completed vocational education in a commercial field (e.g., industrial clerk).
  • You also have specific professional experience in procurement.
  • You possess good knowledge of SAP R3 as well as of the MM/SD modules.
  • Additionally, you have advanced skills in goal-oriented negotiation, as well as in applying analytical techniques in procurement and purchasing controlling.
  • You are fluent in English and Serbian and ideally have good knowledge of German.
