Head of Procurement

Your mission
As the Head of Procurement (all genders), you will define and optimize processes for sourcing, selecting, and contracting suppliers and subcontractors. Play a pivotal role in our journey to sustainable aviation by providing an operational excellence through a modern supply chain management system.
Your Day-to-Day
- Own the end-to-end procurement process.
- Develop and implement an efficient, robust procurement process to secure the best suppliers at the best terms.
- Establish a streamlined overall procurement process to effectively meet day-to-day operational requirements.
- Identify, select and contract leading development partners for structures, systems and various work packages.
- Ensure that all necessary contracts are in place to secure the Microliner development and production phases.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive supply chain management process to monitor and improve the performance of our suppliers and partners to ensure the highest standards.
Your profile
- More than 10 years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success.
- A degree in Engineering, Business, or Law.
- Extensive experience in Aircraft Development Programs, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge and expertise.
- Outstanding people skills, including empathy and strong interpersonal capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, coupled with strong planning abilities.
- Fluency in English, with advanced negotiation skills.

About us
VÆRIDION is a fast-growing deep tech start-up based in Munich, Germany. Since the restrictions by law on CO2 emissions for domestic and short-haul air travel will stimulate Green Regional Air Mobility, we believe it's our mission to provide an aircraft for Zero emission regional flights.
At VÆRIDION our goal is to develop, build and certify a full electric microliner carrying up to 9 passengers for Short-Haul and Regional Air Mobility by 2030. A full electric microliner is cleaner and cheaper to operate than other aeroplanes in its class, it provides a better travel experience door to door up to 500 km. We offer new optimized design based on proven principles, around proven and available technology in electric motors and batteries, that brings lowest risk and shortest route to certification.
