Working Student

We are looking for a Working Student within Global Performance Steering (m/f/d), based in Munich.

Your Team
Within CFO Global Performance Steering (GPS), you will join a diverse team of 6 within the Strategic Controlling team.

The Impact You Will Have
You will be assisting the team which is the main communication channel to the Group, helping the CFO to steer business.

Some Of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include

• Support data collection, extraction, uploads and analysis (e.g. regular reporting, forecasting, strategic/ planning process)
• Perform financial analysis and present conclusions with robust commentary to enable decision-making and performance steering.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

What You'll Bring To The Role

• Proven strong analytical and numeracy skills
• Basic knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and effective messaging
• Knowledge of insurance financial statements and performance metrics, and understanding of IFRS 17 P&L would be an advantage.
• Proven ability in project management, team collaboration, and clear communication to diverse stakeholders in an international environment.
• A willingness to learn and explore how AI can enhance your role and the broader organization is expected.

Further Information

• Duration at least 6 months (preferably longer)
• Working hours: 38 hours/week or 20 hours/week
• Enrollment at the university/college is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
