We're actively seeking an agile and innovative Formulation Manager – Supplements / Nutraceuticals (all genders) to become an integral part of our Product Development and R&D team. If you possess a profound understanding of European regulations, a creative approach, and a knack for crafting market-leading supplement recipes, we're eager to connect with you

Take full ownership of the entire lifecycle of supplement formulation – from concept development to market-ready recipesDefine the product purpose and exact dosage, creating precise theoretical formulations by selecting and balancing active ingredientsConduct specification checks, verify raw material availability, and ensure accuracy of active content calculations – taking into account physical properties such as granulation size, moisture content, and homogeneityTroubleshoot formulation challenges, including stability, compatibility, capsule fill limits, discoloration, or stickinessLead the scale-up process together with manufacturing partners – including root cause analysis of production stoppages and optimize formulations for consistent, scalable manufacturingCollaborate with the Quality department and external laboratories to confirm compliance, and take corrective action when results are unsatisfactoryMaintain a comprehensive formulation database to continuously improve product development efficiencyWork closely with cross-functional partners like R&D, Supply Chain and Regulatory to ensure smooth handover into commercial productionReformulation across the entire product lifecycle, including raw material substitutions or specification changes

Your profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related disciplineProfessional experience in pharmaceutical development, nutraceuticals, OTC / product development, dietary supplement manufacturing – ideally with a strong interest in transitioning toward clean-label nutraceutical approaches Proven track record in developing and manufacturing nutraceutical or dietary supplement formulations, with deep expertise in single-dosage form development Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple development projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentAbility to combine scientific precision with business considerations to deliver competitive and compliant productsExcellent communication skills to clearly explain complex formulation decisions to cross-functional teamsBased in Berlin (Germany) or Warsaw (Poland), or willing to relocate to one of these locations
