Formulation Scientist- Nutraceutical Ingredients

Overview
The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing formulations for nutraceutical applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product stability, compliance, and performance, driving innovation from concept to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate products using botanical extracts (e.g., ashwagandha, curcumin), probiotics and prebiotics for the dietary supplement space.
- Conduct stability and compatibility studies for multi-ingredient blends.
- Optimize formulations for powders, capsules, tablets, gummies, and functional beverages.
- Collaborate with R&D to explore novel delivery systems (liposomes, microencapsulation).
- Prepare technical documentation, prototypes, and application guidelines for customers.
- Stay updated on clean-label trends, regulatory requirements, and scientific advancements.
Qualifications
- Degree in
Food Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field
. - Experience in
nutraceutical formulation development
. - Knowledge of
ingredient functionality, interactions, and regulatory compliance
. - Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
