Your Role
Freshly cooked food. Everywhere. All the time.
With our robots, we're transforming the way the world cooks and enjoys food. Through technology that supports the foodservice industry, reduces food waste, and elevates culinary quality to a new, scalable level. Accessible to everyone. Everywhere. Anytime. We give our all to make this happen – across every level, team and function.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you safeguard the quality of our robotics product suite across web, mobile, and the systems that power our kitchens. You own end-to-end QA—from test design and hands-on regression to transparent defect tracking—ensuring features integrate seamlessly with our robots and operations. By aligning closely with Product, Engineering, and Design, you secure full coverage, surface risks early, and keep our cooking automation platform reliable, scalable, and kitchen-ready.
These are the tasks you will be responsible for:
- Manual testing across web, mobile, and our digital touchpoints — with a clear focus on quality and UX
- Spot, document, and track bugs and usability issues through to resolution
- Set up, maintain, and evolve test cases, checklists, and exploratory charters
- Own the end-to-end QA process as the team's primary QA point of contact
- Align closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to clarify requirements and ensure full coverage
- Validate fixes and run regression tests for releases
- Communicate risks and progress transparently; drive process improvements and keep QA docs current
Your profile
You're passionate about innovative technologies, excited about the role, and ready to help us revolutionize the worlds of tech and culinary even further? Let's get cooking
These are the qualities helping you thrive in this role:
- Degree or vocational training in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable technical discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in software QA or a related field — internships and self-driven projects count
- Confident creating and maintaining test cases and writing clear, concise bug reports
- Solid understanding of QA processes, defect management, and common industry frameworks
- Sharp attention to detail, curiosity for edge cases, and a strong user focus
- Self-driven, reliable, and able to independently run QA for a small team
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
- Beneficial: technical familiarity with modern development environments, with basic Python/TypeScript and CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions or similar).
