Role description:
Our client, a global leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, has launched an ERP transformation programme aimed at consolidating the group's multiple ERP environments (both Microsoft and non-Microsoft) into a single Dynamics 365 F&O environment. The programme is in its early stages and requires an ERP Programme Manager to take over the planning, pilot, execution and governance of the programme, ensuring the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related integrations across all regions of the group.

In addition to programme leadership, the successful candidate will bring Dynamics 365 F&O product expertise, as the role is expected to oversee operational changes and improvements to the ERP system. Whilst deep technical expertise is not required, a good understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O and how best to govern in an enterprise environment will be essential.

The role will drive business transformation, improving operational efficiency and aligning technology initiatives with strategic goals. As such, although this is an interim role to begin with, there is strong potential for long-term collaboration with this organisation.

Start date:

Location:
hybrid – onsite (Berlin) and remote

Capacity:

full-time (5 days per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the ERP programme roadmap in line with corporate strategy
  • Oversee multiple workstreams including Finance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
  • Establish and maintain governance and compliance frameworks
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory, security, and quality standards
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across business and IT teams
  • Report on progress, KPIs and decisions to senior leadership and steering committees
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, vendor contracts and resource allocation
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies and issues
  • Oversee ERP integration with legacy systems and manage master data governance
  • Lead adoption, training, operational and change management initiatives, both in-flight and post go-live

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree and/or relevant certifications in IT, Business or related field
  • 8+ years' experience in ERP programme management (Dynamics 365 F&O)
  • Strong understanding of finance, supply chain and manufacturing processes
  • Proven experience in governance, portfolio management and agile delivery
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills

Languages:

  • English (fluent)
  • German an advantage

Eligibility:

  • Residency in Germany, ideally in or close to Berlin
  • Ability to work remotely and on-site in Berlin in a hybrid arrangement
