About Us

Tebi is creating the first Connected Restaurant Management System that makes hospitality flow. In one seamless platform, Tebi embeds sales, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and all the data that powers it, creating smooth service and intuitive insights.


Founded by Arnout Schuijff, co-founder of Adyen, and backed by €50 million in funding from Index Ventures & CapitalG, Tebi is built in service of hospitality first. Thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, and more countries soon, love running on Tebi.


About the Role

As the General Manager, you are the CEO of Tebi in your country. You are fully responsible for establishing, growing and maintaining the business in your country with full P&L control. Think of it as a startup within a startup. You will fuel the growth of Tebi by building and managing the team that will allow you to increase Tebi's reach in the market and adding restaurants to the Tebi community. You will be making strategic and tactical decisions to allow Tebi to succeed in your market. This role combines business strategy, analytics, and operational execution to ensure we maximise the business, identify future business opportunities, and scale efficiently.

You will be a key strategic partner to Tebi's executive team, working across teams such as Operations, Finance, Product, and Leadership to drive growth and operational excellence in your market. You will be an advocate for your market to ensure its priorities are flagged with product and engineering.


Responsibilities
  • Own full country P&L, go-to-market strategy, and org design

  • Set the vision and develop and execute growth strategies of your market, including launching new cities and territories, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth.

  • Recruit, develop, lead a high-performing and engaged sales and operations team in the Germany.

  • Act as an advocate for Tebi's brand, representing our company's vision, values, and unique value proposition in your market.

  • Lead enterprise sales and strategic partnerships with key industry players in Germany.

  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

  • Build reporting tools and processes to surface geo insights and guide data-driven decision-making on strategies and initiatives to cross-functional teams.

  • Voice business needs and opportunities and partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing and central ops to ensure local market needs are reflected in Tebi OS

  • Create and refine local playbooks for customer acquisition, onboarding, and support to set the benchmark for operational excellence by proactively addressing operational bottlenecks and efficiently managing how we scale Tebi.

  • Become a trusted voice and subject matter expert within the hospitality community.

What You'll Need
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, consulting, banking, working at a startup, business development, or related experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • MBA a plus

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes with a "Leave ego at the door" mentality

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Fluency in German and English.
