We're seeking a dynamic, very hands-on and visionary General Manager to join our thriving Bolt Micromobility team in Germany.

About the role
As General Manager for Micromobility in Germany, you will bear the full responsibility for managing and overseeing the operations in a Region consisting of at least 5+ hubs, and 10+ cities including leading a large Operations team of +50 employees. General Managers are expected to strategically drive expansion efforts within their Region and take full PnL ownership to ensure top- and bottom line results are continuously improved.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the P&L, steering revenue growth, ensuring profitability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Define, architect, successfully implement and optimize local operations and define clear strategies and goals for the local operations team to execute on.
- Utilize and promote data analysis to optimize operational and financial performance, ensuring data is the driving force behind decision-making at every step.
- Advocate and elevate Bolt's brand, product and service by working closely with local authorities and policy makers.
- Expand Bolt's presence and services across Germany by identifying and launching new cities.
- Identify trends, risks and capitalize on mitigation/improvement opportunities on a local level that may impact the business.
- Take ownership of Bolt's growth in Germany by ensuring both local operations and HQ teams proactively support and collaborate with each other to meet business goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager and HQ teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, Hardware, COPS etc.) to tackle operational challenges and bolster product efficiency.
About you:
- You have 7+ years of proven and relevant experience in an operations management or a general management role with PnL experience.
- You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent negotiation and communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and German.
- You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with excellent data analysis skills
- You demonstrate a data-driven, analytical mindset, with excellent proficiency in tools like Google Sheets and Excel.
- Your decisions are governed by tactical & critical thinking approaches and methodologies and you seek to understand root causes as a basis for judgment calls
- You showcase a proven track record in team management, with a focus on team growth and development.
- You possess exceptional organization and project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
