About the Role

We're looking for an open minded and curious person to join our IT Support team as (junior) IT Support. The position is on-site in our Karlsruhe office, part time, between 25- 30% weekly, meaning 10-12 hours a week. This is a great opportunity if you're just starting out in IT and want to build experience and your skills in a hands-on, supportive environment.

At the office in Karlsruhe today, we are between people and you'll be helping your colleagues at the office with everyday tech issues — like setting up computers, fixing problems, and making sure everyone's tools are working properly. No advanced experience is required for this position, just a good attitude, a willingness to learn, and basic tech knowledge.

What You'll Do

  • Help set up and install laptops, monitors, and other office equipment
  • Assist with simple technical problems like password resets or printer issues
  • Respond to support requests from staff and follow up when needed
  • Keep track of equipment and help with basic inventory tasks
  • Learn to manage user accounts and access with help from the IT team
  • Support new hires by preparing their computers and tools
  • Help keep the IT workspace organized and running smoothly

What We're Looking For

  • A general interest in IT and technology
  • Conversational German is a requirement 
  • Basic knowledge of computers and common software like Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Friendly attitude and clear communication — you'll be working with different kinds of people from different functions in the company
  • Willingness to ask questions and learn from others
  • Dependable and organized

Nice to Have (but not required)

  • Experience related to IT or tech
  • Familiarity with Office 365, Teams, or Google Workspace
  • Comfortable working with both Windows and Mac (training will be provided)

Who you are?

We are looking for a part- time employee, approximately 10-12 hours a week at our office in Karlsruhe.

  • We are open for different types of employment, depending on your situation: Werkstudent, Mini-Job or Part-time
  • The role requires on-site presence in our office in Karlsruhe Durlach, no remote work possible
