ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Publisher Relations Coordinator DE/FR will support and assist the process of building relationships, initiating and conducting negotiations for audiobook acquisitions from book and audiobook publishers, with a focus on German and French language publishers and agents. You will be responsible for a variety of relationships, assisting negotiations, managing some partnerships in full autonomy, helping extending our industry network, and contributing to the catalogue performance of our European audiobook publishing vendors to help deliver the leading spoken word catalogue for our German and French audiences. You will also have the opportunity to participate in driving partner relationship strategy at a local, European and international level.

As a Publisher Relations Coordinator DE/FR (M/F/d), you will...
- Develop and follow-up with the quality and productivity of relationships with Publishing houses/key agents Audible is partnering with.
- Support and assist the structuration and initiations of deals, as well as participate in conducting negotiations in terms of day to day relations with our key publishing partners.
- Support and assist the European content acquisition teams in the activity of negotiating deals with different European rightsholders, according to evolving business needs.
- Manage dedicated initiatives that are assigned to you, collaborate closely with the local European and global Audible teams to foster synergies and efficiencies across our Publisher Relations efforts to serve our European audiences and publishers.

Basic Qualifications
- Professional Degree (MBA, M.A., M.S.c, or another post-graduate degree) in relevant field.
- First-hand experience in international intellectual property rights licensing businesses (preferable from the wider media, television, film or computer game industry).

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication skillset (verbal and written in English and German) with the ability to effectively communicate complex deal terms in a convincing and simple manner.
- Business fluency in French.
- Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly, calm and business goal orientated, also in difficult negotiations and under narrow timelines.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for business.
