We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pastry Cook to join our team. In this role, you will assist our Pastry Chef in creating high-quality vegan desserts, ice creams, and beverage bases using soy-based ingredients. You will also maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to the cafe's policies and procedures.

Tasks
- Assist the Pastry Chef in preparing high-quality vegan desserts, ice creams, and beverage bases using soy-based ingredients.
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by the Pastry Chef, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to create an open, positive, and efficient work environment.
- Assist the Pastry Chef in maintaining an organized inventory system for ingredients and supplies.

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Culinary education with a focus on pastry or baking, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role, preferably in a vegan or plant-based setting.

**Technical Skills and Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with various pastry techniques and food safety and hygiene standards.
- Interest in soy-based ingredients, vegan desserts, and environmental concepts.
- Basic knowledge of management software such as Excel for inventory management and record-keeping is a plus.

**Personal Attributes and Soft Skills**:

- Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in recipes, policies, or procedures.
- Positive attitude and ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
