We are looking for a Junior Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team in Berlin. This role focuses on creating and producing high-quality sandwiches, croissants, and seasonal pastry items that complement our coffee offering.

You will have the opportunity to develop new recipes and bring creative ideas to life while maintaining our standards of precision and craftsmanship. We would like to offer more vegan and gluten free selections. Shifts will take place in the morning hours, and you will work largely independently, managing your own production and workflow.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Create and develop new recipes for sandwiches, croissants, and other pastry items. Prepare and bake products daily, ensuring consistency and quality. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with the operations team to align pastry offerings with The Barn’s brand and values.

**SKILLS**:
Some experience or training in pastry, bakery, or culinary work. Creative mindset with attention to detail. Repertoire of vegan and gluten free recipes. Reliable, organised, and able to work independently. Passion for quality, simplicity, and seasonal ingredients. Good communication and teamwork skills.
